Camper meeting of Bulgaria and Turkey

The Trakya Kamp Ve Karavan Dernegi will host an autumn meeting to be held from 19 to 21 October in the Picnic Zone of Sarai Laladere (Laladere Piknik Alanı, 59600 Saray / Tekirdag, 41.539757, 28.012823). The club president, Mr. Mert Baykal, officially invited the Bulgarian camping and caravaning community to participate in the event.

In September, the Turkish club visited Bulgaria at a meeting organized by the campsite club of "Dimitrovgrad catunari". It was held in Mineralni bani - Haskovo. The occasion was the folklor festival "With a dance to vine harvest".

The forthcoming meeting in Turkey will continue the tradition of visits between Bulgarian and Turkish campers. Such type of gatherings are widespread among camper clubs in Europe. They aim cultural exchange through which guests learn about the host's traditions, lifestyle, culture and attractions.

The Turkish hosts are planning a rich program that includes a walk through the beautiful nature of the southern slopes of Strandja mountain, rowing with kayaking in crystal clear Strandzha waters, rock climbing, jeep safari, traditional breakfast and lunch, barbecue. Emphasis is placed on the folklore program, which will take place during the official dinner of the event.

The cost per night for a crew is 35 Turkish Lira incl. electricity and water. Additional entertainments will be paid on spot and the price will depend on the number of guests. Buses are organized for sightseeing.
