Kromidovo is a small and cozy camping in the village of the same name, located less than 4 km from the Sofia-Thessaloniki motorway (E79), and about 15 minutes from the Greek border at Kulata. It is run by a British family, which develops and maintains it in an English model.
The campsite is set in the courtyard of their house, where guest rooms are also provided. It has a dozen sites with electricity and water for motorhomes, caravans and tents on a large green meadow. Additionally, there are two tipi tents that make this cozy place a glamping.
Sara and John, the campsite owners, are doing everything i a way to be environmentally and nature-friendly. They have made room for separate collection of waste and compost. Because sanitary units have a septic tank, they appreciate if their guests use a chemical toilet cleaner with a green label.
In the campsite there are two great places to relax in the shade and socialize - one is on the large terrace of the house, from which there is a great panoramic view of the valley and the second one in the yard, under a stable wooden shed with tables and chairs.
On the first level of the guest house are the kitchen of the campsite and the sanitary facilities. Everything is done with the idea of people gathering ideas for travel, getting to know each other, leaving their opinions, memories and impressions. There you can also get a lot of useful information and ideas for routes, sights, cellars in the region of Melnik, and other interesting places in the region and in the country.
Just next to the campsite, there is a mineral pool of the village of Kromidovo.
The campsite is ideally located for sightseeing in the beautiful southwest of Bulgaria. The smallest and most beautiful Bulgarian town of Melnik, famous for its architecture and its wines, is only 11 km away and the SPA resort of Sandanski is 20 km away. Ski Resort Bansko is at about. 1.5 hours drive from Kromidovo camping site.
