Over 150 proposals for the new touristic logo of Bulgaria

Over 150 proposals were received in the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism's competition for new tourism logo of the country whose deadline expired last night (April 4, 0:00 pm.), announced the Ministry of Tourism today.

The first stage of selection, a nine-member jury of professionals in the field of graphic design and art artistic chaired by prof. Bozhidar Ionov will examine the projects and will rank the best of them for the next stage of the competition. The jury will monitor compliance with set technical parameters as well as the clarity of the image and its ideological connection with the creative on Bulgaria "A Discovery to Share". It's expected proposals to be made public in mid-April and to have a public discussion.

The new tourism logo of Bulgaria will be known in May after the vote of the jury of 15 people - representatives of Bulgarian business, media, marketing and communication professionals.

Tourism logo Bulgaria developed in 2013 was rejected because of negative public reactions.
