Detailed information about Strelcha Base Camp

Strelcha Base Camp is located in the foothills of Sochtinska Sredna Gora, right above the town of Strelcha, along one of the main tourist routes from the town to Valk peak and H. Rebellious, in the direction of the East. There are several mineral springs in the town, the water of which is extremely healing.

The valley of the town of Strelcha has a mild climate in winter, a varied relief with many bizarre stone formations. The region also has numerous artifacts scattered across the mountain in tombs, fortresses, and megalithic sanctuaries.

The soil of the mountain is sandy, does not form mud during rainfall and is extremely suitable for outdoor sports such as mountain biking, mountain running, hiking, kayaking, riding, motocross and off road.

There are several dams suitable for kayaking in the area - Topolnitsa Dam, Dushantsi Dam, Piasachnik Dam and Kalavashtitsa Dam (2 km).
