Annual Awards #BestBGcamp 2025: The Winners!

After a short break, the #BestBGcamp annual awards return in a new format.

At the end of 2025, Camping.BG distinguishes some of the many campsites and camperstops in Bulgaria that deserve to be awarded. After visiting over 100 places offering camping accommodation during the year, we selected those that stand out with something special. Other sites are distinguished based on formal criteria - visits to their profiles on the Camping.BG portal, interest in our Facebook posts about them, number of video review views, etc. On this basis, we formed nine categories in which we awarded campsites and camperstops.

Our awards this year go to:

1. New Campsite of 2025: Alino

Camping Alino has been accepting guests since 2024, but officially opened in 2025. In its short time of existence, the campsite has attracted huge interest, created a loyal clientele, and its ratings on online platforms are extremely high. We present the award to Camping Alino because of the above, and also for the following:

• Its profile on Camping.BG was viewed over 6,000 times.
• Our Facebook post about the campsite from 09/06/2025 has over 250,000 views.
• The campsite is built with great style and taste.
• It features a reservoir and water attractions.
• Restaurant on the shore of the reservoir.
• On-site two-story hall for dining and events.
• Mini SPA center.
• The area is expanding with a new tent zone.

2. New Camperstop of 2025: Kalimanski Han

Kalimanski Han is a new camperstop that we inspected late this spring. Even during our visit, it was not yet 100% finished. The camperstop is part of the large Kalimanski Han complex, which combines traditional Bulgarian style in a restaurant, park environment, SPA center, etc. The entire complex is made with style, and a beautiful view is revealed from the camperstop. Indicative of the interest in it is the fact that our Facebook post for Kalimanski Han from 02/06/2025 has over 105,000 views.

3. New Mini-Campsite of the Year: Riverview Sunrise

Riverview Sunrise is a new camping spot on the Danube River, near Oryahovo. The award is presented for the wonderful panorama of the Danube, home comforts, and the atmosphere that the kind hostess Rosie offers to her guests. The location is attractive and was in need of a campsite.

4. Eco Campsite of the Year: Amazing Village

Campsite Amazing Village has been operating for several seasons and attracts more and more fans. The entire plan of the campsite makes an impression, but also the ecological practices that have been introduced and are planned for the future. Here is what they are:

• Solar water heaters.
• Wastewater reuse.
• Solar panels for electricity (2026).

5. Development for 2025: Beglika

Camping Beglika has not stopped developing since its opening. This year, its guests were delighted by the kind hosts with more novelties. A building with an equipped kitchen and a large dining room was put into operation. Between it and the camping pitches are the brand new heated pools and jacuzzi. And in the other part of Camping Beglika are the excellently furnished new forest villas.

6. Remote Work Campsite 2025: Brusen Hill

Camping Brusen Hill is one of the lesser-known camping places in our country. Until we visited it this summer and made a video review. We were impressed by the young family managing it, the surrounding nature, and also the specially equipped office for several people for remote work. In short:

• Separate building with office equipment, secured with fast internet.
• Silence and nature around.
• Routes for hiking and cycling in the area.
• Catering options.
• Our Facebook post about the campsite from 11/07/2025 has over 90,000 views.

7. Seaside Campsite of the Year: Ailyak

Camping Ailyak is one of the largest by area on the Black Sea coast. It has its own beach and a shallow, clear, and calm sea - ideal for children. Its award for 2025 is presented with the following motives:

• Its profile on the Camping.BG portal was shown nearly 6,000 times.
• Our video review of the campsite was watched over 19,000 times.
• Our Facebook post about the campsite from 11/06/2025 has over 138,000 views.
• Reported record attendance by tourists in 2025.

8. Grand Prize "Campsite of 2025": Veselo Selo

Camping Veselo Selo (Happy Village) is located near the town of Sarnitsa, on the banks of the Dospat Reservoir. It is managed by the family of Nebi Ibish, who improve the conditions in the campsite every season - new sanitary facilities, new terraces with camping pitches, new bridges, a new playground, etc. To all this, we must add the local specialties offered in the campsite's restaurant, as well as, of course - the view of the reservoir. Camping Veselo Selo was also the first site on the Camping.BG portal to test offer online reservations for camping pitches. Formal indicators for the award:

• The campsite with the most profile visits on Camping.BG: 10,500.
• The campsite with the most positive comments on Camping.BG: 10, average rating 5/5.
• Our Facebook post for the campsite from 08/07/2025 has over 150,000 views.
• Option for online reservations and payment through the Camping.BG portal.

9. Special Award 2025: Starite Borove

Starite Borove (The Old Pines) is located in the corner of the map of Bulgaria. A large part of the transit traffic from Europe to Greece and Turkey passes by it. This is also the reason why there are many foreign tourists in the campsite. But the reasons for giving it our special award for this year are many others:

• Silence and nature.
• Lots of shade and coolness.
• Improvements in the camping zone.
• New and non-standard accommodation places.
• Style and attention to detail.
• Restaurant with very good cuisine and drinks.
• Our Facebook post about the campsite from 09/07/2025 has nearly 60,000 views.

Each of the awarded campsites will receive a special certificate from Camping.BG. Congratulations!
