The Camping Guide of Bulgaria will take you through 7 routes in the country, that reveal the diversity of the Bulgarian nature, campsites and tourist attractions. They are presented on 32 pages focusing on basic information about each route, its length, the campsites it offers, their services, amenities and prices, and last but not least - recommendations on additional activities in the areas. The Guide is your irreplaceable assistant when traveling on wheels in Bulgaria.
The 7 routes are:
Northwestern Bulgaria - from Sofia to Vidin with 4 campsites and 13 landmarks along the way;
Central North Bulgaria - the area, locked between the cities of Rousse, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo and the ridge of the Balkan Mountain, providing information about 5 campsites and 14 tourist attractions;
Sub-Balkan Area - the traditional Sub-Balkan road from Sofia to Bourgas, which leads through the famous Rose Valley with 4 campsites and 16 attractions and offers typical cuisine in the area;
Western Rhodopes & Velingrad area with an emphasis on the thermal campsite in the SPA capital of Bulgaria and places of interest in its close vicinity, such as the Pliocene park presenting archeological finds of а Rhodopean Mastodon (Anancus arvernensis);
Southwestern Bulgaria - along the Struma highway from Sofia to Kulata (to the Greek border) with stops at the hottest geyser in Europe, the smallest town in Bulgaria - Melnik, and other places of interest;
The North Black Sea Coast reveals some of the most modern campsites in the country and many tourist sights in Varna that you might otherwise miss visiting. The number of the campsites along this route is 8;
The Southern Black Sea Coast route presents 4 campsites along the coast, leads to Strandzha Natural Park and ends at the beautiful town of Malko Turnovo (the border with Turkey).
The Camping Guide of Bulgaria is distributed free of charge by Camping.bg in printed and digital form. You can download it in pdf format or use its interactive version. For a better user experience, we recommend that you install the ISSUU (Android / iOS) mobile application.
A printed version of the Guide will be available later than May 2020 at the reception desks of all participating campsites and in the sport and camping equipment stores in Bulgaria.
