Eco-trail Goritsa and Ovcharchenski waterfall are located above the village of Ovchartsi, nearby the town of Separeva Banya. The starting point for the trail is the center of the village. From there you have to follow a steep street that reaches the mill, located in the end of the village. The trail runs along the Goritsa river, which is one of the cleanest rivers in Bulgaria. The steepness of the slope is moderate and it takes 15 minutes to get to the waterfall. There are places to rest along the way.
Ovcharchenski waterfall is located at 900m. above sea level and is the lowest situated waterfall in Rila mountain. Its drop is 39 meters.
After enjoying the walk along the eco-trail, you can stay in camping Verila. It is located in the town of Separeva Banya, only 3km. away from Ovchartsi village.
