The Ministry of Interior has released vehicle registration data for 2025. For another consecutive year, sales of new motorhomes in Bulgaria have shown significant growth. Traffic Police registers for 2025 show 123 motorhomes with first-time registration in the country, representing an increase of nearly 12% compared to the previous year.

Based on official data, the top sales spots in Bulgaria are held by two German premium brands – Carthago and Hymer, with 18 and 15 brand-new units, respectively. In third place is the more affordable brand Roller Team with 14 motorhomes, followed closely by the budget-friendly Giottiline with 13 new registrations. Next are McLouis and Volkswagen (8 each), Etrusco and Mobilvetta (5 each), and Weinsberg (4). Brands like Eura Mobil, Laika, Rapido, and Challenger recorded 3 units each. Bürstner, Dethleffs, Carado/Sunlight, CI, and the super-premium brand Morelo each have 2 new registrations. Several brands, including Adria, Benimar, and Knaus, recorded a single sale.

In terms of market share by manufacturing groups, Trigano leads the Bulgarian market with 35 motorhomes. They are followed by the Erwin Hymer Group with 29 units and the Rapido Group in third place with 18 units. Knaus-Tabbert follows with 7 units sold. Among independent manufacturers, Carthago Group is the leader with 18 sales, while Volkswagen recorded 8 registrations and Mercedes-Benz one for the Marco Polo campervan.

It should be noted that the total does not include "parallel imports" (vehicles first registered in another EU country) or conversions where a brand-new van is registered under the chassis manufacturer's name. Therefore, 123 is the absolute minimum number of new motorhomes registered in 2025.
